We wanted to share an honest update on the upcoming DLK Urban Gospel & Christian Hip Hop releases connected to our single, “Plan of Perfection.”
While we missed our original targeted deadline for releasing the official music video and enhanced mixes, the project is still very much in motion. Things are moving along nicely, and we are continuing to work through the process with care, focus, and excitement.
Creative timelines do not always move exactly the way we plan. Sometimes a project needs more time, more attention, or a few additional adjustments before it is ready to be shared. That has been the case here. Even though we would have loved to release everything according to the original schedule, we also want to make sure the final version represents the song, the message, and the brand in the strongest way possible.
The good news is that we are extremely happy with the new mixes. They have brought fresh energy and clarity to the song while keeping the heart of “Plan of Perfection” intact. That balance matters to us. We want the enhanced versions to feel new and exciting, but we also want them to honor the spirit of the original release.
“Plan of Perfection” carries an important message, and we do not take that lightly. For DLK Urban Gospel & Christian Hip Hop, music is not only about sound. It is also about purpose, encouragement, faith, perseverance, and sharing something that can speak to people in a meaningful way.
That is why we are taking the time needed to bring the official video and enhanced mixes across the finish line properly. We want these releases to feel intentional. We want the visuals to support the message. We want the mixes to connect with listeners. Most of all, we want the project to reflect the heart behind the music.
At this point, we are hopeful that the releases may happen toward the end of this month, but we still need time to confirm as progress continues. Rather than making a firm promise too early, we want to be transparent and give updates as things become clearer.
What we can say with confidence is that the project is still cooking. The energy is there. The direction is strong. The excitement is real.
