We wanted to share an honest update on the upcoming DLK Urban Gospel & Christian Hip Hop releases connected to our single, “Plan of Perfection.”
While we missed our original target for releasing the official music video and enhanced mixes, the project is still very much in motion. Things are progressing well, and we are continuing to work through every stage with care, focus, and genuine excitement.
Creative timelines do not always unfold exactly as planned. Sometimes a project simply needs more time, more attention, or a few extra refinements before it is ready to be shared. That has been the case here. Although we would have loved to release everything according to our original schedule, we also want to make sure the finished project represents the song, its message, and the DLK Urban Gospel & Christian Hip Hop brand in the strongest way possible.
Why We’re Taking a Little More Time
The good news is that we are incredibly happy with the new mixes.
They bring fresh energy, greater clarity, and even more impact to the song while preserving everything that made the original version special. That balance matters to us. We want these enhanced versions to feel fresh and exciting without losing the heart of “Plan of Perfection.”
The song carries an important message, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. For DLK Urban Gospel & Christian Hip Hop, music has always been about far more than great production. It is about purpose, encouragement, faith, perseverance, and creating something that genuinely speaks to people.
That is why we are giving both the official music video and the enhanced mixes the time they deserve. We want every visual to strengthen the message. We want every mix to connect with listeners. Most importantly, we want the finished project to reflect the heart behind the music.
At this point, we are hopeful that everything may be ready toward the end of this month. However, we still need a little more time before confirming an official release date.
Rather than making promises too early, we believe it is better to keep everyone informed as progress continues.
What we can say with confidence is this: The project is still cooking.
The momentum is there. The direction feels strong. In fact, the excitement has only grown as we’ve continued refining every detail.
