As we step into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to share where we are with our music journey and what is ahead for DLK Urban Gospel and Christian Hip Hop. Toward the end of 2025, we released our first single, “Plan of Perfection.” That release was a very meaningful milestone for us. It represented more than just a new song — it was the beginning of a larger vision, a message of encouragement, and a reminder that even when life feels uncertain, God is still working through the process.
At the same time, the season surrounding the release brought its own challenges. As the holidays approached, things became more stressful than expected. We were working hard to meet the original deadlines we had set for ourselves, but like many creative projects, everything did not unfold exactly as planned. Between the pressure of timing, the demands of the season, and the natural challenges that come with building something meaningful, we eventually had to pause our promotions and regroup.
While that was not the outcome we originally hoped for, it gave us the chance to step back, breathe, and refocus. Sometimes a pause is not the end of the story — it is simply a necessary moment to reset, gain clarity, and move forward with renewed purpose.
Now that we are in 2026, we are excited to say that we are taking a fresh start. We are preparing to release the official music video for “Plan of Perfection,” along with a fresh new mix of the single. We believe this next phase will help us get back on track and present the song in a way that fully reflects the heart behind it. This new push is not just about revisiting a release, but about giving the message another opportunity to reach the people who need it most.
We are also looking forward to sharing some of the encouraging feedback and support we have already been receiving around the song. It has been a blessing to see that the message is resonating with listeners. Knowing that people are connecting with the heart of the music reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.
